Some facades of the Likès high school in Quimper (Finistère) have been hosting a temporary exhibition of 430 giant photos since Monday.

These are portraits of students made last September.

The exhibition presented until March 11 was imagined as part of the Inside Out project launched by the artist JR, indicates France Bleu Breizh Izel.

The black and white photographs were presented in this way to promote equality between women and men in the various school streams.

The objective was to obtain a rendering different from that of an identity photo without being too intrusive with the model.

"Luck for All"

"This is the image we want to give to the outside, equality, opportunity for all, this somewhat crazy idea of highlighting our vocational high school students", explained CPE Grégory Hottebart .

The imbalance between the number of male and female teenagers in certain courses is indeed quite clear, in general as well as vocational education.
