On March 1, "Jinglun Yinghui - Suzhou Silk Culture and Skills Exhibition" was held for the first time in the country at the Yunnan Provincial Museum.

  Cultivating mulberries, raising silkworms, and making silk and weaving are among the manufacturing industries with the longest history in China.

Yunnan is a multi-ethnic gathering area, and many ethnic minorities have their own unique embroidery skills. Therefore, the project leader chose Yunnan as the first exhibition venue, hoping to bring more cultural collisions through exchanges.

  The exhibition is divided into four parts: "The Magical Silkworm Making", "The Exquisite Weaving and Dyeing Technology", "The World of Silk and Satin" and "Meihuan's Silk Art". , ornaments, etc.

The purpose of the exhibition is to reflect the inheritance and creation of silk culture in Chinese civilization, so that visitors can understand the history and culture of Chinese silk represented by Suzhou, and feel the artistic beauty of silk technology.

  It is reported that this exhibition will be displayed in the temporary exhibition hall on the third floor of the Yunnan Provincial Museum from March 1 to April 15.
