Nurith Aviv has made about fifteen documentary films, in particular by making language issues a personal and cinematographic field of research. She is the first female director of photography in France recognized by the CNC.
She made the image of a hundred films (fiction and documentaries), among others for Agnès Varda, Amos Gitaï, René Allio or Jacques Doillon.
