New sanctions were taken by the European Union, this Wednesday, March 2, 2022. The Twenty-Seven have excluded seven Russian banks from the international financial system Swift, and banned the Russian media RT and Sputnik from broadcasting.

The EU strongly mobilized since the beginning of the war, six days ago, and which has started a real turning point by delivering weapons to Ukraine to the tune of 500 million euros.

A turn made possible in particular by the change of doctrine of Germany hitherto attached to its pacifist principle.

Is this war the first stone in the building of a Europe of defense so often evoked?

Can this unity be found in other areas and overcome the disagreements that undermine the EU?
