10 years ago, Long Qian, then the head of Guangxi Gui Opera Troupe, signed an agreement with Bai Xianyong in Beijing. Bai Xianyong, who was originally from Guilin, Guangxi, agreed to adapt his short story "Huaqiao Rongji" in "Taipei People" as his hometown. Play Gui drama.

　　[Explanation] Recently, Long Qian said in an interview with reporters that after years of preparation, the Gui Opera "Huaqiao Rongji" successfully premiered in Nanning, Guangxi at the end of 2019, and has performed for many times since then, which is very popular among fans.

　　[Commentary] The Gui opera "Huaqiao Rongji" tells the story of the century-old Guilin rice noodle shop "Huaqiao Rongji" opened in Taipei. Bowls of Guilin rice noodles embody the strong nostalgia of Guangxi people who work hard in Taiwan.

The story of the people in the first half of their lives is left in the mainland, and the second half of their lives, looking forward to reunion, stays in Taiwan, showing the joys and sorrows of ordinary people who have left their homes in historical changes.

Long Qian said that the description of Guilin rice noodles in the Gui Opera version of "The Story of Huaqiao Rong" restores Mr. Bai Xianyong's expectations and sustenance for returning to his homeland.

　　[Explanation] As a dramatist, Long Qian has witnessed the rise and fall of local dramas over the years.

Compared with the protection and development of Peking Opera, the inheritance of operas in many parts of China is facing a stagnant situation.

There are 29 opera genres and more than a thousand troupes in Guangxi, but a large number of opera genres remain at the grassroots level, and their voices are fading in the ever-developing information age.

　　Guangxi’s local drama genres are indeed faced with some difficulties in the inheritance and development. For example, there are relatively few artistic talents in local drama genres, so the protection funds are also relatively small, and the treatment of performers is relatively low. As a result, the artistic quality of some works is not very high, so there is still a lack of professional opera troupes in our local area, and there are relatively few opera troupes, and the market investment and operation channels of local dramas are still relatively narrow. It is difficult to meet the needs of the cultural life of the masses.

This is also an important reason why she hopes to bring the Gui Opera version of "Huaqiao Rongji" to Taiwan for exchange.

In addition to promoting the "going out" of "Huaqiao Rongji", Guangxi also uses "Liu Sanjie" as a brand to promote local dramas into ASEAN countries.

"Liu Sanjie", performed with our "Liu Sanjie", so the local performance is very popular.

Guangxi Drama Theater has created many plays mainly based on body language to carry out overseas exchanges.

In 2017, at the 35th World Congress of the International Theatre Association held in Spain, the classics of Gui Opera such as "Fighting the Stick Out of the Box", "changing clothes in the box" and "backflipping into the box" shocked everyone present.
