The Ministry of Health confirmed in a statement that “a report was received to the central ambulance system in the Ministry of Health by the ambulance station located in Sabaa Bahrat Square about a fire in the building of the “La Mirada” Mall on Al-Hamra Street, and that an immediate response was made and 4 ambulances were sent to provide aid. The necessary medical care and the transfer of a number of people to nearby hospitals to provide the necessary treatment services, explaining that the ministry's ambulances are still in place to support the firefighting and civil defense teams until the cooling operations are completed.

It was noted that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the commercial complex.
