In terms of proprietary Chinese medicines, together with the batches that are about to arrive in Hong Kong, the working group received a total of 350,000 boxes of anti-epidemic proprietary Chinese medicines donated by the state.
Among them, 70,000 boxes and 50,000 boxes of proprietary Chinese medicines have been distributed to Link and other enthusiastic organizations in the community.
The remaining 230,000 boxes of medicines are being distributed through relevant departments to those receiving treatment at 18 Chinese medicine clinics under the HA and confirmed patients in isolation facilities.
The Commerce and Economic Affairs Bureau stated that the working group will continue to coordinate the medical supplies needs of various anti-epidemic departments and units to ensure that the supplies can be supplied to Hong Kong for epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic purposes as soon as possible.
The Food and Health Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government said on the 1st that a total of about 23,000 boxes of anti-epidemic proprietary Chinese medicines had been distributed to residents under "enclosed and forced inspection" on February 28 and March 1.
