His company, Plan B, will produce the second installment of Tim Burton's cult film.
According to Deadline, if the project has been in the drawers of Warner for several years, no script has yet been written.
No information about the realization has filtered either.
Tim Burton said in 2015 that he was working on a sequel, which was confirmed by Winona Ryder, also attached to the project at the time.
But since then, vagueness reigns.
The filmmaker was recently focused on the series devoted to Wednesday Addams, a spin-off of another of his cult films, for Netflix.
The casting
In any case, according to Empire, the original cast could indeed come back to haunt the feature film.
Thus, Michael Keaton should find the costume of Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder that of Lydia Deetz.
Geena Davis, too, is likely to reprise the character of the ghost Barbara Maitland, who haunts the Deetz family home.
On the other hand, there is little chance that Alec Baldwin will return in this second film.
