An important Jordanian decision for those wishing to enter the Kingdom

The Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs, Faisal Al-Shboul, announced the abolition of the requirement for Jordanians to register on the travel platform, before coming to Jordan, starting today, Tuesday.

Al-Shboul indicated that “the government has canceled the procedures related to quarantining contacts with Corona patients, and canceling the (PCR) examination for those coming to Jordan from the country of origin, and at all crossings upon arrival, and this applies to Jordanians and non-Jordanians,” according to “Petra.”

And he indicated that "the mitigating measures came based on the recommendation of the National Committee to Combat Epidemics," stressing that "the pandemic has not ended, and any decisions taken will be related to the developments of the epidemiological situation."

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Al-Fayez, said that "the mitigating measures related to the Corona virus pandemic announced by the government, will contribute to mitigating the repercussions of the Corona pandemic on the tourism sector, and will reflect positively on revitalizing the tourism movement, increasing the number of tourists coming to Jordan, and facilitating their arrival movement."
