A company in Kobe that develops the women's apparel brand "INGNI" has made subcontractors who deliver products for the Internet bear unnecessary expenses such as "logistics expenses", the Fair Trade Commission I received a recommendation from the association to prevent recurrence.

The recommendation was received from "INGNI", which has its head office in Chuo-ku, Kobe, which develops the women's apparel brand "INGNI" and has 140 stores in commercial facilities nationwide.

According to the Japan Fair Trade Commission, from 2018 to April last year, 24 subcontractors outsourced the manufacture of women's clothing, etc., when delivering products sold on the Internet, such as "logistics costs" etc. It means that the price was unreasonably reduced by deducting unnecessary expenses.

Originally, as "logistics costs", we had the vendor bear part of the cost of delivering products sold at stores such as commercial facilities from the warehouse to the store, but even for products for online sales, these costs are charged. It means that it was a burden in the name.

The total amount that had been unreasonably reduced amounted to more than 70,900,000 yen, and the Fair Trade Commission recommended that recurrence be prevented because it violates the subcontracting law.

"Ing" commented that he had refunded the reduced amount to the contractor by the beginning of February, and "we will take the recommendation seriously and improve it."
