Hankyu Corporation is conducting a demonstration experiment to show the congestion level of each running train on the platform of the station and provide information to passengers who want to avoid congestion.

The demonstration experiment is being carried out by Hankyu Corporation and Tokyo Institute of Technology, and was opened to the press on the 28th at Juso Station in Yodogawa Ward, Osaka.

We analyze how many people are on the train from Osaka Umeda to Kobe using AI from the radio waves of passengers' smartphones, and check the congestion level of each vehicle on the electric bulletin board installed on the platform of Juso Station. It is a mechanism to show.

On the 28th, passengers were seen checking the electric bulletin board while waiting for the train at the station.

According to Hankyu Railway, there are many voices from passengers who want to avoid the crowds in the car due to the corona.

An office worker in his 40s said, "I use it every day for commuting and wanted to avoid crowds as much as possible, so it's safe to know how crowded it is."

In addition, Ken Tominaga, chief of the Hankyu Urban Transportation Planning Department, said, "It is important to avoid denseness due to corona damage, and we would like to connect to our customers' peace of mind through experiments."

The company hopes to conduct experiments until the end of March to verify issues and effects and help improve the environment inside the car.
