On the evening of February 26, the isolation facility in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong was under construction overnight. It is expected to be completed next week and put into use immediately.

It is reported that the "square cabin hospital" in Tsingyi covers an area of ​​about 60,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 3,800 beds.

Previously, the Hong Kong SAR government has signed a cooperation agreement with China State Construction International Group to build 8 new community isolation and treatment facilities in Hong Kong.

Community isolation and treatment facilities are located in Penny's Bay, Kai Tak Pier, the former San Tin Shopping City, Tsing Yi and other places in Hong Kong.

Among them, the isolation facilities at Penny's Bay and Kai Tak Pier are permanent facilities, and the rest are temporary isolation centers.

At present, all eight isolation facilities have been opened.
