Gunma Prefecture announced on the 28th that 294 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and one died.
It is the first time since January 17th that the number of infected people announced in a day has fallen below 300.
Infection was confirmed in 51,684 people in Gunma prefecture, of which 249 died.
