Among the 2 million single-parent families counted in France, according to the latest figures from INSEE, 18% are made up of fathers living alone with their children.

If they are still very much in the minority, their number increases from year to year, from 300,000 in 2017, the "solo" fathers are today 350,000. Little studied or little taken into account, their situation is surprising.
In the land of stereotypes, involvement in the education and life of one's children would still be maternal.
In reality, custody of children is mostly entrusted to the mother.
