According to statistics from various monitoring points by the staff of Shandong Rongcheng Whooper Swan National Nature Reserve that morning, more than 1,200 whooper swans have begun to migrate.
Rongcheng, Shandong is the "hometown of Chinese whooper swans". The population of whooper swans overwintering here mainly migrate to Siberia, Mongolia and other places.
