  It is reported that the construction scope of Hangzhou Grand Canal National Cultural Park is Shangcheng District, Gongshu District, Xihu District, Binjiang District, Xiaoshan District, Yuhang District, Linping District and other 7 urban areas along the Grand Canal.

  The construction period is from 2022 to 2025, of which the basic completion stage will be by the end of 2023; the optimized development stage will be by the end of 2025. Within the scope of the Grand Canal Cultural Park, the protection of various cultural heritage resources will be fully covered, and the hierarchical and classified display system will be basically form.

  It is worth noting that the Grand Canal National Cultural Park will focus on the construction, control and protection and themed exhibitions based on the overall layout of cultural relics and cultural resources, differences in endowments, the surrounding living environment, natural conditions, supporting facilities, etc., combined with national land space planning.   In order to provide citizens and tourists with a better Grand Canal cultural tourism experience, Hangzhou will take the Grand Canal culture as the core and the tour line as the carrier to connect the scenic spots along the canal, and create a number of classic cultural tourism routes of the canal, such as the upper water line and the upper shore line.
