Until the beginning of May, the Musée d'Orsay is presenting an exceptional collection of works by the American painter of the late 19th century, James McNeill Whistler.

Most come from the Frick collection in New York, and some have never been shown in France.

Paintings, pastels, etchings were, for the most part, produced in Europe by the American artist, very attached to the Parisian and London artistic scenes.
