According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, heavy fog occurred in parts of Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Guangxi and other places this morning; it is expected that from February 27 to March 1, a new wave of cold air will affect the central and eastern regions of my country.

 Heavy fog appeared in parts of Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Guangxi and other places this morning

  From 08:00 yesterday to 06:00 today, it was light to moderate snow in parts of central Qinghai, eastern Tibet and other places.

This morning, heavy fog with visibility less than 1 km occurred in southeastern Yunnan, southern Guizhou, western Hunan, and most of Guangxi, and local visibility was less than 200 meters.

  Cold air will affect the central and eastern regions

  It is expected that from February 27 to March 1, a new wave of cold air will affect the central and eastern regions of my country. The temperature in the central and eastern parts of the northwest region, North China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, Jiangnan and other places has dropped by 4 to 8 degrees Celsius; Guizhou, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and western South China have light to moderate rain; there are light to moderate snow or sleet in eastern Northwest China, northern North China, eastern Inner Mongolia, Jilin and Liaoning, and local heavy snow.

In addition, affected by the cold air, from the 27th to the 28th, parts of the southern Xinjiang Basin, western Inner Mongolia, western Gansu and other places experienced blowing sand or floating dust weather.

  Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on February 27 to 08:00 on February 28, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of most of Tibet, most of Qinghai, central and southern Gansu, northern Shaanxi, central and northern Shanxi, and northern Hebei. There is heavy snow in the southeast.

There were light rains in Chongqing, southern Jiangsu, central Shaanxi, southern Shanxi, southwestern Hebei, and most of Taiwan Island.

There are 4-6 winds in parts of eastern Xinjiang, central and western Inner Mongolia, Jilin and other places.

Parts of the southern Xinjiang Basin, western Inner Mongolia, western Gansu and other places have blowing sand or floating dust weather.

  From 08:00 on February 28 to 08:00 on March 1, there were light to moderate snow in parts of southeastern Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Liaoning, western Xinjiang, central and eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai, southern Gansu, and northern Hebei. There was heavy snow (5-9 mm) in parts of southeastern Jilin, northeastern Liaoning, and southeastern Tibet.

There are light to moderate rains in Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing, central and eastern Guizhou, most of Hunan, and northern Jiangxi.

There are 4-6 winds in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia, western Tibet, and central Gansu.

Parts of western Inner Mongolia, western Gansu and other places have blowing sand or floating dust weather.

  From 08:00 on March 1 to 08:00 on March 2, there was light snow in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, western Xinjiang, northern Tibet, northern Qinghai, and central and western Gansu.

There are light to moderate rains (10-15 mm) in parts of southern Jiangsu and Anhui, Zhejiang, southern Hubei, eastern Chongqing, eastern Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Hainan Island, Taiwan Island and other places.

There are winds of magnitude 4 to 6 in parts of central Inner Mongolia (see Figure 3).
