About 20 masked people attacked, Friday, near Paris, the location of the filming of the new season of the series "Lupin" on "Netflix", in the presence of its hero, French actor Omar Sy, and robbed equipment there, according to police sources told AFP.

The series' team was attacked with fireworks cannons, during filming, in the Pablo Picasso district of Nanterre, located in the western suburbs of Paris, according to the same source.

There were no casualties, but equipment valued at 300,000 euros ($338,000) was stolen from the site.

And “Netflix” confirmed the “accident”, stressing that the safety of the work teams is a priority, hoping “to be able to resume filming soon.”

As of June 11, "Netflix" is scheduled to show the new part of "Lupin", its first French series, after the series attracted tens of millions of views all over the world.
