The Personal Status Court in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, decided to separate a groom from his bride after three months of the marriage contract, and to return the dowry and the net to him, after filing a lawsuit.
According to the newspaper, "Okaz", the groom explained in the lawsuit that he married a university girl and gave her a dowry of 50,000 riyals and a net, a gold set, and it was agreed that the wedding would take place at a later and near time.
The groom confirmed in the lawsuit that "the problems became many between us, and the bride made a ban on my mobile number (block) as well as (ban) on WhatsApp, and I could not communicate with her by phone or WhatsApp."
He pointed out that "he communicated with her father to no avail, and I ask her to compel her to submit to the marital home or to return me my dowry and the courtship network."
The groom denied the validity of what the father said, while the court decided, after a confrontation session between the two parties, to divorce the two brides, after the groom received the net and the dowry through a bank transfer.
