Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 26th that it was confirmed that 241 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 20,588 people have been confirmed to be infected in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that two men in their 70s and 90s died on the 25th.
In Yamaguchi Prefecture, 125 people died after being infected with the new coronavirus.
