In order to accelerate the third vaccination, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government hopes to expand the scope of vaccination at large-scale vaccination venues and set up a venue exclusively for young people to achieve 20,000 vaccinations per day.

According to the city, by the 23rd, more than 2.34 million people, or 19.6% of the population over the age of 18, have been vaccinated for the third time.

In order to further accelerate inoculation, the city will have five out of the inoculation venues for essential workers such as those involved in education and welfare, such as the South Observatory of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku. In addition, we will also add people who commute to work or school in Tokyo.

In addition, we will set up new venues for young people aged 18 to 39 on the Arakawa Campus of Tokyo Metropolitan University and the Minami Osawa Campus.

In addition, the temporary accommodation facility secured in Tachikawa City will be diverted to the inoculation site.

The capital wants to achieve 20,000 inoculations per day through these measures.
