More than a thousand French people usually live in Ukraine.

They would be down to 300 or 400 after the French authorities called for the return of nationals without a compelling reason to stay.

Among them, Edouard Dorges, settled in Ukraine for 14 years and married to a Ukrainian.

This HR consultant is a block manager in Kiev.

That is to say, he liaises between the French Embassy and the expatriates in his district.
