Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya City announced on the 24th that a total of 424 people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
On the other hand, the prefecture has corrected that the outbreak report was withdrawn for one person announced on the 20th of this month.
With this, the total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 42,712.
The prefecture also announced that three new patients have died, bringing the death toll in the prefecture to 173.
