In Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture, the first service in the prefecture to rent electric kick scooters to tourists has started.

This service was started on the 14th of this month for the first time in the prefecture so that groups working on tourism promotion in Yatsushiro City can efficiently visit famous places and tourist spots scattered in the city such as castle ruins.

The electric kick scooter has a total length of about 1 meter, and it is treated as a mini bike under Japanese law, so you need to wear a driver's license and a helmet, but it has excellent mobility in the city and you can park in a narrow space.

The group prepares 5 cars and rents them for 1800 yen for 1 hour and 4500 yen for 3 hours.

A 20-year-old female university student from Kumamoto City who said she rode for the first time said, "I enjoyed riding like a middle ground between a mini bike and a bicycle. I think it's very convenient because you can drop in at various places more easily than a car." I was talking.

Kazuhiro Nakamura, the chief of the group, said, "It's going to be a warm season, so I want many people to visit the cherry blossom spots in the city with an electric kick scooter."
