Kagawa Prefecture announced on the 24th that it was confirmed that 259 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
They also announced that they were all in their 80s, and a total of three people, two men and one woman who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
A total of 17,019 people have been confirmed infected in Kagawa Prefecture, and 69 people have died.
