  In November 2021, the police of the Criminal Investigation Brigade of Dingyuan County Public Security Bureau discovered during their work that some people were selling cultural relics in the market.

After receiving the clues, the police tracked and judged the clues.

With the strong assistance of the Cyber ​​Security Brigade of Dingyuan County Public Security Bureau, the police station in the jurisdiction and the relevant police types of the Municipal Bureau, after more than three months of investigation, the police of the special team successfully tracked the activities of the three suspects.

On January 21, 2022, the police of the task force was divided into three action groups, and successfully arrested three suspects, Zhou, Zhang, and Liu, and seized a large number of stolen cultural relics and detectors and other crime tools.

  After interrogation, the criminal suspects Zhou, Zhang and Liu confessed to their alleged crime of robbing ancient cultural sites and ancient tombs.

Zhou explained that he was driving an excavator. When he was working on the construction site many years ago, he heard from a co-worker that there was an ancient tomb at the construction site.

Driven by their interests, the three took risks and robbed ancient tombs in Dingyuan County, where they found a large number of bronzes and coins.

  In December 2021, the three discovered ancient tombs again during the construction of a construction site. Zhou purchased an ancient tomb detector and, together with Liu, robbed local ancient tombs again.

The cultural relics excavated by the three failed to be resold due to price issues and have been stored at home.

After the identification of the cultural relics department, the bronze ware and copper coins excavated privately by Zhou and other three people were cultural relics from the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty, and had high historical research value, including one national second-level cultural relic, two sets of national third-level cultural relics, and more than 1,000 ancient copper coins. .

  During the arrest, the family members of the tomb robbers actually said: "We dug this, and we didn't steal or rob it!"

  At present, the three suspects have been criminally detained by the Dingyuan County Public Security Bureau in accordance with the law, and the case is under further investigation.
