A Swiss company reveals the price of #Mohamed_Ramadan's "gold" toothpaste

A Swiss company specializing in cosmetic products revealed the price of the toothpaste that the Egyptian artist appeared to use a few days ago, and sparked a wide wave of controversy because it contained 24 karat gold.

According to the Swiss company, the price of the toothpaste is 99 Swiss francs, equivalent to about 1,700 Egyptian pounds, and it contains 23.75 carat gold dust, or “24 carats,” and provides ideal protection for cavities, while the toothbrush is gold-plated, which gives it a smooth texture.

The company explained that the toothpaste has anti-inflammatory properties and works to regenerate cells, and gold is very effective in dental care and preventing caries and gingivitis: “The unique tube formula contains a physiological protein that is naturally present in saliva and protects the teeth.”

Ramadan had appeared in a video that sparked a storm of controversy, saying as he brushed his teeth: "Sabah al-Dahab, my toothpaste is 24 caliber."

The Egyptian artist, Mohamed Ramadan, raised the controversy after he posted a video clip inside the bathroom standing in front of a mirror, while holding a golden tube in his hand and in his other hand a brush of the same color.
