Valiev says that for a long time, the federal media has done everything to paint a picture of the situation in Ukraine that appeals to the interests of the Russian regime.

- They continue with the same propaganda rhetoric and provide a one-sided retrospective whose purpose for many years has been to shape the demand among the population for tough military action against the Western world, especially Ukraine.

Valiev: Accessible objective information

He says that the Russian mass media continue to pursue their line and that most Russian media do not take objectivity into account.

- There are individual media companies that strive for objectivity.

People who want to access objective information can do so, but only a few.

Most people are happy with what is presented on the TV screen.

Corrections gradually

Ruslan Valiev points out that Russian media can often start manipulating the flow of information when something does not go as planned.

- Sometimes it happens that something does not go according to plan and some corrections occur.

Then it is very clear how the mass media that do not offer objective information will have to change their position and change their rhetoric.

To me, this process is completely obvious.
