In order to reduce the adverse effects of rain, snow and low temperature weather on railway transportation, and ensure the safety of vehicles and smooth transportation in bad weather, the Fuzhou Public Works Section of the Southern Railway and the Fuzhou Railway Department organized employees to drive rail cars to inspect the lines and turnouts and remove snow.
