[Explanation] Recently, in preparation for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, more than 10 national sports teams including the Chinese National Weightlifting Team, Sailing Team, and Taekwondo Team have assembled in Hainan successively to start a new stage of winter training.

　　[Explanation] Wuzhishan Sports Training Base is located in Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, where the scenery is beautiful and the four seasons are like spring. The average temperature here is around 24 degrees Celsius and the climate is comfortable. It is the base camp for the annual winter training of many national sports teams.

　　We came to Hainan for the first time in (2021), and after coming here, we found that this place is really good for winter training. It is neither too cold nor too hot. In terms of climate, it is more suitable.

And this place is said to have the highest negative oxygen ions in the country, which is of great help to athletes' (physical) recovery.

　　Wuzhishan is a blessed place. It can be said that China has trained many Olympic champions and world champions in the past few years.

(We) come here for a few months every year, and the whole training environment here, all the care and support, the support from the local area, we can feel it.

　　[Explanation] On the west coast of Haikou, more than 200 kilometers away from Wuzhishan City, there is another hot training scene.

The unique maritime environment here is favored by the national sailing and windsurfing team. They train in Hainan for 4 months every year. This tradition has lasted for more than 30 years.

　　(In Hainan) in winter, due to the (action) of the northeast monsoon in the Qiongzhou Strait, the number of hours of our training, including the quality of training, provides wind protection.

Hainan's geographical location provides this temperature (guarantee).

Especially in winter, it is warmer.

　　Every winter, all provinces (athletes) come here for winter training.

But they are all professional athletes. The change in recent years is that there are more enthusiasts and more children to participate in this project, which is to cultivate from an early age, in order to cultivate more outstanding athletes, to win glory for the country.

　　[Explanation] According to statistics from the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, from October 2021 to the end of January 2022, Hainan has received more than 30 national, provincial and municipal teams and nearly 1,500 training personnel.
