Still unknown a few years ago, the success of influencers continues to grow on the African continent.

Fashion, humor, cooking, but also business, politics or feminism, the new figures of the web want to weigh but also show a positive image of Africa, beyond the clichés.

Followed by millions of people on social networks, companies and brands on the lookout for a new clientele have made no mistake in betting on these new opinion leaders.

The profession has indeed evolved since the beginnings and influencers have gradually become more professional.

On a continent known for its youth and where the smartphone market is booming, the activity has something to seduce.

It nevertheless remains remunerative only for a handful of them.
