On February 19, 8 new confirmed cases were confirmed in Shenzhen, 6 of which were close contacts of cases since the "0215" epidemic under control, and 2 were found during nucleic acid screening of key personnel.

Case 1:
Female, 28 years old, an employee of a company in Bantian Street, Longgang District, living in Lane 12, Wangtang, Bantian Street, Longgang District. She was found to be a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light) during screening among key populations.
Case 2:
Female, 32 years old, a staff member of a company in Bantian Street, Longgang District, living in Lane 1 East of Qiaolian, Ma'antang Community, Bantian Street, Longgang District. She is a close contact of the cases since the "0215" epidemic and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light).
Case 3:
Male, 33 years old, a staff member of a company in Bantian Street, Longgang District, who lives in Dongshunxing Building, Overseas Chinese Federation, Ma'antang Community, Bantian Street, Longgang District.
Case 4:
Male, 58 years old, a staff member of a company in Bantian Street, Longgang District, living in Dongshunxing Building, Overseas Chinese Federation, Ma'antang Community, Bantian Street, Longgang District. He is a close contact of the cases since the "0215" epidemic and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (common type) .

Case 6:
Male, 34 years old, a staff member of a company in Bantian Street, Longgang District, living in Dongshunxing Building, Overseas Chinese Federation, Ma'antang Community, Bantian Street, Longgang District. He is a close contact of the cases since the "0215" epidemic and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (light).
Case 7:
Female, 52 years old, a staff member of a company in Nanhu Street, Luohu District, who lives in Lane 20, Dongxinling, Buji Street, Longgang District.
Case 8:
Male, 42 years old, a cross-border truck driver under closed-loop management, was found in the screening of key populations and diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (common type).
The above new cases have all been transferred to the emergency hospital of the Third People's Hospital of Shanghai for isolation and treatment, and the condition is stable.

All 15 cases of "0213" epidemic are Omicron
At present, the Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention has completed the whole genome sequencing of the "0213" epidemic cases 1-15 of the new coronavirus, and the results are all Omicron variant (BA.2 evolutionary branch).
After comparison, the new coronavirus sequences of 15 cases are highly homologous, and combined with epidemiological investigations, it is suggested that they are the same transmission chain.
In addition, the gene sequencing result of case 1 found in Shenzhen's active nucleic acid test on February 18 was also a variant of Omicron (BA.2 evolutionary branch).
Sequencing of other cases is ongoing.
The relevant departments of the city and district are fully tracing the activity trajectory and personnel contact of all cases in the past 14 days, and the traced close contacts and sub-close contacts have been controlled as required.
The workplace and residence of all cases have been controlled, and environmental nucleic acid sampling and terminal disinfection have been carried out in key places where they have been active.
