(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) Baotou City, Inner Mongolia added 1 new local confirmed case and 1 asymptomatic infection
China News Service, Baotou, February 19 (Reporter Zhang Wei) On the 19th, the New Coronary Pneumonia Prevention and Control Work Headquarters of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region announced that there was 1 new local confirmed case and 1 asymptomatic infection in the city.
From 12:00 to 18:00 on February 19, 2022, 1 new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (case 7, Kundulun District) was added in Baotou City, who was a close contact of confirmed case 1; 1 new case of asymptomatic infection ( Damao Banner), a close contact of Case 2.
Both of the 2 cases passed the nucleic acid test and were reviewed by the Baotou CDC and were positive. After consultation with the expert group, 1 case was diagnosed as a mild case of new coronary pneumonia, and 1 case was an asymptomatic infection, and has been transferred to a designated hospital for isolation and treatment.
Up to now, Baotou City has confirmed 7 local new coronary pneumonia cases and 1 asymptomatic infection.
