Sweden, we have a result.

The artist and anesthesia nurse Faith Kakembo goes to the Melodifestivalen final with the contribution "Freedom" thanks to the applause.

The song is written together with Laurell Barker, Anderz Wrethov and Palle Hammarlund.

With a grand ballad with gospel elements, flanked by choir singers, Faith Kakembo sang into the hearts of the audience.

She competed in the Melodifestivalen two years ago with "Crying rivers" and despite being praised by the critics, she was knocked out immediately.

This time it went better.

Kakembo picks a ticket to the finals' starting field on March 12.

Before the competition, Faith Kakembo told about how comfortable she felt on stage.

- It's a nice feeling.

I have landed and feel more at home on stage.

Especially together with the choir now that we have had to work together.

They are my friends, she said.

Bagge big favorite

Both gaming companies and critics tipped Anders Bagge as tonight's winner.

And the audience also turned out to be on the notes.

The 54-year-old singer snagged tonight's first final ticket.

Anders Bagge burst into tears when the result was presented:

- I have no self-confidence, says the artist who has repeatedly testified about his great stage fright, to Farah Abadi immediately after the announcement.

Cazzi Opeia and Lisa Miskovsky to the semifinals

As for the semifinals, it was Moa "Cazzi Opeia" Carlebecker with the song I cant get enough and Lisa Miskovsky with Best to come who moved on.
