Broadcaster MC Ding-dong (43, real name Huh Yong-woon) was caught driving under the influence of alcohol and was caught by the police while running away from a police car.
On the 18th, Seoul Jongam Police Station booked MC Ding-dong on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) and obstructing the execution of official duties.
MC Ding-dong was caught by the police near Hawolgok-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul while driving in a drunken state at 9:30 pm on the 17th.
The police, who were pursuing MC Ding Dong, arrested him around 2 am on the same day, about 4 hours later.
As a result of a breathalyzer test, it is known that MC Ding Dong's blood alcohol level was at the level of license revocation (over 0.08%).
The police sent MC Ding-dong home after taking a breathalyzer test, and plans to call him back soon to investigate the details of the crime.
MC Dingdong debuted as a comedian in the 9th SBS recruitment in 2007 and is currently working as a pre-MC for various broadcasts and events.
