Caused by the imprisonment of #Tawfiq_Okasha..a journalist and a creditor of his fame

The prison sentence of the Egyptian journalist, Tawfiq Okasha, attracted the attention of social networking sites in Egypt, and the search for the identity of his ex-wife, which caused his 3-month prison sentence, because of alimony, was the most searched article during the past hours.

According to a number of local media, it was found that his ex-wife, Reda El-Kardawi, had worked as a broadcaster on Egyptian television, which, according to Egyptian media, suggested to him to establish the one on which Okasha appeared, and he gained wide fame through it.

And the Egyptian media explained that Okasha separated from her immediately after the launch of the channel and refused to appear on the screen, and the dispute between them focused on his refusal to have children.

Al-Kardawi founded the Arab Council for Development Media, and participated in the "New Woman" movement, and other social movements, according to Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper.

Reda Al-Kardawi filed the case against Okasha in the summer of 2011 at the Talkha Family Court in Dakahlia Governorate, where the media, Tawfiq Okasha, was arrested at Cairo International Airport minutes before his departure, by the police, to implement several rulings in cases of defamation, and other previous disputes that are still under judicial consideration.
