It is not a surprise.

They had even announced it before the interrogation of their client, last Friday.

The lawyers of Cédric Jubillar, in detention since June 18, 2021 for the murder of his wife, Delphine, have just filed a new request for release.

It is the fourth formulated by the trio of defender of the plasterer in eight months.

The latter still claims his innocence in the disappearance of his wife on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, at the marital home of Cagnac-les-Mines, in the Tarn.

Still in isolation

During his last interrogation, the two investigating judges returned at length to the confessions he allegedly made to a fellow prisoner in Seysses.

The latter, a certain "Marco", told the gendarmes that Cédric told him that he had buried the body of his wife not far from their house, near a farm that had burned down.

Statements that recently led to extensive excavations in the area for three weeks.

Without giving anything.

For one of its defenders, Emmanuelle Franck, it was “an interrogation on the void, which highlights the state of perdition in which the accusation finds itself”.

His other lawyer, Jean-Baptiste Alary, had denounced the isolation regime to which he is subject, "is a form of pressure on him".

Each of his requests for release have been denied.
