The Supreme Court decided to dismiss the appeal of a former employee who was accused of violating the Public Works Conflict Prevention Law, alleging that he had leaked information related to the bidding for public works ordered by Matsumae Town, Ehime Prefecture, and suspended sentence. The conviction with the mark will be finalized.

Defendant Yoshihiko Tanigawa (37), who was the chief engineer of the town planning section in Masaki Town, Ehime Prefecture, said that the unit price of the material was stated in a commercial book to the president of the civil engineering company over the repair work of the town road ordered by the town three years ago. He was accused of violating the government-manufactured negotiation prevention law, saying that the amount accumulated by the president was close to the planned price.



The former employee pleaded not guilty, but the Takamatsu High Court of the second trial sentenced him to one year and six months in prison and a suspended sentence of three years, following the first trial, saying that he was "recognized to have intentionally taught the secret." I did.



Judge Mamoru Miura of the Second Small Court of the Supreme Court decided to dismiss the appeal from the former staff by the 18th, and the conviction with suspended sentence was confirmed.



The town has dismissed this employee from disciplinary action last year after being convicted by two courts.
