According to Zhang Lei, deputy director of the Hohhot Municipal Health Commission, up to now, Hohhot has reported a total of 7 confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in this round of epidemic, and most of the confirmed cases were screened and found from the close and sub-close contacts.
At present, the confirmed cases have been treated in isolation. After consultation with experts, 1 case is normal, 6 cases are mild, and the condition is stable.
According to reports, as of 22:00 on February 16, a total of 440 close contacts and 320 sub-close contacts have been identified in this round of epidemic in Hohhot. All control measures have been implemented, and relevant investigations, testing, and traceability work are being carried out in an orderly manner.
In accordance with the regulations of the Comprehensive Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism for the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic of the State Council of China on the community prevention and control plan for the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, combined with epidemiological investigations, Hohhot City has determined the implementation of "regional closure, staying at home, and door-to-door service". The closed control area and the control area where "people do not leave the area and are strictly prohibited from gathering" are implemented.
In accordance with the provisions of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council of China on adjusting the zoning and grading standards of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic and implementing precise control measures, after a comprehensive evaluation and judgment by the expert group, the Hohhot New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters has researched and decided, starting at 23:00 on February 16, 2022 Since then, three local communities have been adjusted to medium-risk areas.
