After having distributed more than 2 million meals in 2021, Restos du Coeur now wishes to focus on access to care for beneficiaries.
In this context, the association has signed a national agreement with the local Primary Health Insurance Fund (CPAM) and the Ile-de-France Regional Health Insurance Fund (Cramif), as reported by Le Parisien on Thursday. .
An agreement with CAF on March 15
In the Yvelines, the partnership was already recorded in practice.
According to our colleagues, 30% of the 1.4 million insured present in the department would give up care for economic or personal reasons.
The objective pursued by the local branch of the association is to reach a quarter of the 5,500 families it supports.
Once trained, the volunteers must identify the people and send the CPAM a series of reports in order to help the beneficiaries find mutual or complementary health insurance.
In the Yvelines, the Restos du Coeur have an appointment on March 15 with the CAF (Family allowance fund) to sign a similar agreement.
