  According to the Guangdong Meteorological Bureau, during this cold air process, the lowest temperature will appear on the 20th or 21st. The cities and counties in northern Guangdong will have a low temperature below 5 °C, and the lowest temperature in the alpine mountainous area will be as low as minus 3 °C, with freezing and local accompanied by Freezing rain or sleet, the minimum temperature in Guangzhou is about 6 ℃; at the same time, there will be strong winds of magnitude 6 to 8 on the sea surface of the province.

  Meteorological experts reminded that during this cold air process, the weather was cloudy and rainy and cold, and it was necessary to do a good job of preventing cold and keeping warm; in rainy and foggy weather, the visibility was low, the road surface was slippery, and the sea surface was windy, so attention should be paid to land and water traffic safety.

  The reporter learned from the Guangdong Meteorological Bureau that the strong cold air began to affect northern Guangdong during the day on the 18th, Guangzhou at night that day, and the whole province on the 19th.

Affected by the cold air and the shear line, from the 18th to the 22nd, most of Guangdong experienced moderate to heavy rain and local heavy rain.
