Chitose Shokakuya, a comic talker who gained popularity with the phrase "I don't know, I don't know," died at a hospital in Tokyo on the 17th due to heart failure.

Chitose Shokakuya grew up in Fukushima prefecture, and after moving to Tokyo with the aim of becoming a singer, he became a member of the Chitose Shokaku family, Chiyowaka and Chiyokiku, who were known for their manzai. It was named "Chitose Shokakuya".



He built his own world view by incorporating nursery rhymes into the comic story, and in the 1970s he was active on TV and radio. It gained popularity due to the phrase and the parody of the nursery rhyme "Yuyake Koyake".



She also made a big hit with the record "Wakanne Daro Na (Yuyake Koyake)" released in 1975, which sold 1.6 million copies, and was active in a wide range of genres such as movies and dramas.



Chitose continued to appear on stage until recently, but according to her family, she got sick late last month and was admitted to a hospital in Tokyo, and died of heart failure on the 17th.
