A global fast food chain that uses spoiled oil to fry chicken

The famous food chain, Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Jabalpur, was serving its customers chicken cooked in spoiled oil, according to the Indian press.

The incident dates back to September last year, when a sample of refined palm oil was taken from the #KFC restaurant in the South Avenue Mall, where it failed the test, and a violation against Kentucky employees and the owner of the company was recorded in the report of the food safety official in Jabalpur district.

The Guargat Police Officer, Bhumeshwari Chauhan, said that Food Safety Officer Pankaj Srivastava filed a written complaint in this regard on September 28, 2021, stating that a sample of refined bulk palm oil was taken from Sapphire Food India (KFC Restaurant), where it was Preparing a sample in the presence of the restaurant official.

 This sample was sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory in Bhopal for testing, and now the investigation report came, as the edible oil sample in it was found to be unfit for consumption.

A case has been registered against KFC Restaurant under the Fertilizer Safety and Standards Act.

The well-known food chain company KFC has many customers all over the country.

The nutrients found here are also consumed in large quantities on a daily basis.

The use of spoiled oil in the Food Administration investigation raises questions about the credibility of this fast food company.
