In a trial in which a major consulting company alleged that a former executive who had transferred to a rival company had unfairly pulled out an employee, the Tokyo District Court said, "It is a rebellious pulling out act to leak human resources of competitors." I ordered a former executive to compensate for more than 50 million yen.

The complaint was made by a major consulting company, Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting.

Three years ago, several employees all moved to another major consulting firm, claiming that a former executive man who had already transferred had pulled out his subordinates in violation of company regulations and sought damages.

The former executive who was sued was arguing, "I just received a consultation about changing jobs, but I did not pull out."

In a ruling on the 16th, Judge Tomoko Sawamura of the Tokyo District Court said, "I was strongly calling for a transfer by assuring salaries and assignments in advance. It is a betrayal withdrawal act to have an adverse effect, "and ordered a former executive to compensate for more than 50 million yen.

A former executive lawyer said, "I'm dissatisfied, so I'll appeal immediately."

In the consulting industry, where many job changes are said, it is rare for an employee's transfer to turn into a lawsuit.
