The Berlin Film Festival begins the festival season and, together with Cannes and Venice, is this year's highlights in the European film industry.

This year's winner of the Golden Bear is a drama film that takes place in a small village near Lleida in Catalonia and tells the story of a family who make a living by harvesting peaches and are forced to abandon the land they have taken care of for sixty years when the landowner wants to install solar panels. .

Alcarràs is completely filmed with non-professional actors.
