The reporter learned on the spot that this bronze mask is 131cm wide, 71cm high, 66cm deep and weighs 131kg. It is the most complete, largest and best preserved large bronze mask unearthed from the Sanxingdui site.
It has a wide forehead, exaggerated face, smooth lines and sharp edges and corners such as eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips and ears.
Bronze masks are the most distinctive and typical artifacts in Sanxingdui culture, and they should be artifacts displayed in temples for worship.
