Okinawa Prefecture has decided not to request the government to extend the priority measures such as the prevention of spread, which will expire on the 20th of this month.

The priority measures are expected to be lifted in 20 days.

Except for the Miyako area, Okinawa Prefecture has "priority measures such as prevention of spread" applied by the 20th of this month, and Okinawa Prefecture is requesting restaurants to shorten their business hours.

The prefecture was considering whether to request the government to extend the priority measures, but on the 16th, a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters was held, and the extension was extended based on the fact that the bed usage rate of the entire prefecture is less than 50%. I decided not to request it.

The government is also considering canceling it, and the priority measures are expected to be lifted in 20 days.

With the cancellation, there will be no request for shortening business hours to restaurants, but the prefecture will continue to request thorough infection control measures, and if there is a tendency for infection to spread again after cancellation, priority measures will be applied again. We will also consider requesting the government.
