Ms. Yoko Mikasa, who had been hospitalized for pneumonia associated with a new coronavirus infection, was discharged on the morning of the 16th because her symptoms had recovered.

Ms. Yoko (38) was confirmed to be infected on February 8, and although she had no fever, she was admitted to the University of Tokyo Hospital from the following day because she had symptoms of pneumonia on subsequent examinations.



According to the Imperial Household Agency, she was diagnosed with Ms. Yoko, but as a result of her continued treatment, she recovered from her symptoms, so she was told by her doctor before 9:30 am on the 16th. It means that he was discharged from the hospital at his discretion.



She will return directly from the hospital to her residence in the Akasaka Imperial Property in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and she will be treated for the time being.
