Good news for fans of anguish and anxiety-provoking atmospheres: there will indeed be a third installment of

Without a Noise

(in addition to the spin-off already in progress).

John Krasinski, who directed the first two films, announced it at Paramount's Investor Day.

The first film, co-written by the filmmaker with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck, brought in $340.9 million at the worldwide box office.

The Covid-19 pandemic did not get the better of this success, since the second episode, again written by John Krasinski and released in May 2021, generated $297 million.

Silence

The greatest secrecy surrounds for the moment the third part.

No director or screenwriter has been announced.

Neither does the cast.

John Krasinski starred in the first feature with his wife, actress Emily Blunt.

Their children were played by Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds.

A Quiet Place 2

featured Cillian Murphy confronting noise-sensitive predatory aliens.

On the other hand, a release date has been put forward by the

Hollywood Reporter

: 2025. An estimate, no one can assume either the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic or the future restrictions in force.
